I always had a good relationship with my grandfather. He lived a couple miles away in a home my parents owned. The last five years of his life, give or take, I spent a lot of time with him. He couldn't drive anymore so I would take him grocery shopping and to doctors appointments. Cleaned his house once a week, like I said. He died just two days after my father died. I miss those fellas a lot, but I do feel lucky for the time I spent with them.
