Will Harris (Owner of White Oak Pastures) - Letter to Whole Foods Customers

Whole Foods, along with plenty of others, is guilty of greenwashing. In his opinion, Amazon will eventually turn Whole Foods into Walmart... but I'm sure most of us see that coming even if we never did explicitly put it into words.

For those who don't know, White Oak Pastures does regenerative agriculture and they've de-industrialized the farming process. It's not about how many pounds of meat they can pump out to the supermarket, it's about the quality of the food they sell to their customers. It's the difference between "cage free" and pasture raised.

I don't know that I've ever specifically shopped for White Oak Pastures, but I can certainly tell you that US Wellness Meats has an incredibly delicious selection. Their bacon is especially outstanding.

I noticed last year how Whole Foods has turned into a fake healthy store. Produce is appetizing but I wouldn't call it high end anymore, just expensive.

Whole foods is a lot less expensive than it used to be. All part of the plan. You're right that it moved downscale. That was on purpose though

Will Harris did a JRE podcast in which he said his meats are also sold at Kroger and affiliated stores. You can also get his meat from their website. Good options since his Whole foods contract is getting nuked if it isnt already. Better yet, find your local stockman.
