I think a lot of narrcicist go into the medical field because some of the root causes of narrcicist personality disorder is a deep deep sense of insecurity that is made worse by bad parenting or narricist parents.

Yes good call.the narrcisist I unfortunately got involved with had a grandparent who shamed her and she was catholic and she stuttered as a child and no one in her family told her then went to school and was shamed by that. Then she was small and skinny until a late growth spurt so lots of shame till then.
