Exactly, in the EU we have the Media Freedom Act, which guarantees the rights of journalists and media companies to report freely. We also have harsh sanctions against Russia, which include the prohibition on the media company RT and its journalists from reporting within the EU at all.
Musk should tell the EU to go fuck themselves. It is an American company with its major operations all in the US. If the EU shuts off access to it within the EU it will mean it will become as difficult to access here as RT is now i.e. anyone who understands what a VPN is will still have free access to it.
Exactly true. I don't use twitter, but would not feel any loss if everyone in the EU were blocked. Private company can do anything they want, right (((governments)))?
