You slave your life away for money your masters can just print out of thin air. You give them something of value, your time, and they give you something of no value to them, a worthless token. The next layer of nuance is that they give you a boss that isn't one of them but a fellow slave, so he actually values the token as well so it all seems so much more believable. The real masters are the ones who can print money. I'm not anti-work or anything. It's just that our current arrangement is slavery. Until everyone is earning gold we have a slave system. I guess because of this I have become a bit anti-work lately, but pro-productivity. When everyone earns an honest income (which means not usd), I'll become pro-work again. Till then our current labor model has to go and I want to participate in it as little as possible beyond my survival. I used to want to get ahead. Now for me getting ahead is using my time in other ways and giving as much of a middle finger as I can to anyone who think my time is worth something printed out of a jew's ass.

Yeah, it's horrible. I live in a house, eat all sorts of great food, get my medical care for practically free, and get to spend all my free time fucking off and doing whatever I want. However, I have to work 40 hours a week, so I'm totally like an indentured servant.

You can argue all you want that the serfs of yesteryear had it better than today's wage slave yet no one is about to trade the advantages of their modern life for the good ol'days where infant mortality was huge and the plagues took everyone equally, peasants to nobility.

And a lifetime of living hand-to-mouth takes its toil as well, not to mention the endless procession of babies.

I'm not saying that there are not inequities today but they compare very favorably to how the majority of people lived before the modern era.
