According to United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero, Donavon Parish of Hattiesburg used voice over internet protocol (VoIP) to make a series of phone calls in April and May 2022.
The calls were to Jewish synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses in eastern Pennsylvania. Not far away, in Pittsburgh, in western Pennsylvania, the man who murdered 11 people at a synagogue in 2018 is eligible for the death penalty.
