The internet is just a shell of its former self.

I agree. I think that, they are actually making it worse, intentionally.

They were always shit, now they're censored shit.

And curated. I used to be able to find what I was looking for through pics but now those are sponsored as well.

[ - ] Warden 8 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:48:09 ago (+8/-0)

It’s just crazy how every fucking time you examine one of the major problem in society, it always leads back to Jews. You’d think that once in awhile one or two of the major problems would lead back to some other demographic…….nope, never happens.

[ - ] Nozyedys 8 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:01:31 ago (+8/-0)

It's about centralizing the internet.

Do remember searching for something specific 10 years ago? It would return mostly forum results with deeply involved discussions. Sometime around 2014 they removed the discussions filter from the Google search and it has been downhill since then. Now it will rarely show forums and instead will land on some auto-generated news page about what you're looking for. They want you to search Facebook for discussions instead, as they can moderate Facebook centrally and probably with AI.

And they have a monopoly on search because their servers will only allow x amount of spidering requests if you're not on their approved list. So anyone that wants to compete in the search engine space will not be able to spider sites like youtube or facebook properly.

[ - ] Sheitstrom 5 points 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 00:28:04 ago (+5/-0)

I concur. It was the removal of message board forums from search results that has killed online discourse. In addition, there are like 15 "whitelisted" approved websites that you see in your results over and over and over. The same "authoritative" websites. Page after page of listings all essentially the same. It gives the appearance of different results, but it all takes you to the same place.

[ - ] Stonkmar 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 09:59:41 ago (+0/-0)

I agree. But now I just add the word 'forum' to my search query.

[ - ] AmalekTheZOG 6 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 18:42:43 ago (+6/-0)

This has been noted by several people. If all the jews die, search engines will be functional and uncensored.

Until then... (((raises glass)))

[ - ] ParnellsUprising 5 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 16:59:43 ago (+5/-0)

yahoo and bing are the same fucking thing first off, as yahoo uses bing exclusively for their search results.

I hate to use kikepedia, but they are accurante in this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo!_Search

(((cuckcuckdont))) just came out officially a short time back to "direct their results to more mainstream sources", but also use bing as one of their primary sources:

MSM sources:

Try getting a search result on an event in the Ukraine war from Russia perspective

Its all repeated lies straight from Ukraine ministry of truth

[ - ] 93sr20det 4 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 21:28:23 ago (+4/-0)

try Yandex.ru.

[ - ] RobertJHarsh 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 07:43:17 ago (+0/-0)

You're right. I've got my own list of sites I go through everyday because on google, every result is fucking "slava ukraine". Death to those euromaidan mother fuckers.

[ - ] Conspirologist 4 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 17:13:20 ago (+4/-0)

Because of censorship. The kikes won't let independent, free speech results, this is why they are repeating their results. Just to fill the empty space.

[ - ] usedoilanalysis 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 17:25:22 ago (+1/-0)

Even higher education is jewed, so even basic scientific research is jew controlled. Well chinx are now putting out most of the scientific research, but you can probably trace that back to jew money.

[ - ] BlueEyedAngloMasterRaceGod 3 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:37:04 ago (+3/-0)

i have definitely noticed it recently, especially when searching anything related to jews. all it brings up is pro-jew nonsense. go on yandex and you get entirely different results.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 3 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 18:36:38 ago (+3/-0)

Giving the internet to the unwashed masses was the worse decision the human race ever made. It is now a communication network for communists, degenerates, and the worst types of human filth with a few islands of rational thought.

[ - ] GottaGasEmAll 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 02:56:39 ago (+1/-0)

They say 900,000,000 results and then give you 124.

[ - ] 3Whuurs 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 02:21:46 ago (+1/-0)

Almost every search does this now.
They’ll still say “6 million results found”, but even with everything repeating after a few pages, around the 14th page, the “total results found” changes from 6million to 150 and just stops.

It could just say 150 results, but it doesn’t. It intentionally misleads you then outright censors 99% of the results it just admitted to having.

[ - ] Systemisgay 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 00:10:04 ago (+1/-0)

My litmus test for search engines is the search terms "israel did 9/11"...

[ - ] x0x7 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:38:55 ago (+1/-0)*

I have a theory about this: Search engines were designed to leach data out of an internet designed as directories and serve up a useful result. Basically when the web is in the form of directories a search engine gets you to the result faster than if you interacted with them yourself and finds you the best document. It simulates a human walk through directories sped up with indexed data and more patience to check every corner.

But with search engines having killed directories, search engines managed to survive applying the same algorithm to web with less structure but some still remaining. It's not what it was designed for but if you point it at data that's structured kind of similarly you still get an ok result. That's how search engines survived the post-directory era.

In steps social media. The web doesn't have a structure anymore. It's not a series of sites all linking to each other. It's just rows and rows of database entries most of them on a hand full of websites with hardly any of the content linking to somewhere else unless the link is the content.

Basically the entire premise of the search engine algorithm is dead. It killed itself. Ironically if the search engine died we would need directories and the data for search engines to operate would exist again.

It's kind of like if every hotel price comparison site just grabbed prices from other price comparison sites and the initially listing sites didn't bother staying up or updating the data because everyone was just going to go to the site that has all the prices.

[ - ] texasblood 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 18:38:54 ago (+1/-0)

BRAVE doing me good enough last couple years

[ - ] x0x7 2 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:50:03 ago (+2/-0)*

On the few cases where it hasn't for me I've found yandex is a good complement. There's more junk to sift through on yandex but the results remind me that the older internet still lives. The other search engines just stopped linking to the internet we love.

Basically Brave is faster when it works but it's often faster to use yandex and work your way onto page two than play search engine phrase wakamole when its not cooperating. I swear the english speaking search engines aren't even indexing most of the internet so unless it's on quora/stack overflow/youtube you aren't going to find it out of any of the English speaking ones because they do anything to not link to an actual forum. On yandex you can get a link to an actual forum like 2005 kept going on forever (because it did).

The old way of doing internet never died. They just stopped linking to it.

[ - ] Belfuro 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 20:40:32 ago (+1/-0)

Try using brave to lookup say the crimean bridge terrorist truck bomb.
All you'll get is Ukraine telling you via CNN that Russia did it or some shit.

Sombody recommended a search engine last week, what was it?

[ - ] Conspirologist 3 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 18:57:31 ago (+4/-1)

[ - ] voatre 4 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:10:23 ago (+4/-0)

I just tested this with various searches and it is WAY better than jewgle.

The best one is, if you compare results for "voat" on millionshort vs google, millionshort gives an actual link to voat.xyz, some wiki articles on what it is, and some other actually legit articles about what voat is (even if it mentions negative points, they are still legit articles)....

And then google: RREEEEEE HATE SPEECH! SHUT IT DOWN! POLItiCALLY INCORRECT! RRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

fucking jews

[ - ] NedsHead 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 20:54:38 ago (+0/-0)

Nice, it passed my litmus test, I searched Daily stormer and niggermania, both had working links as the top result

[ - ] 3Whuurs 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 02:46:48 ago (+0/-0)

I always use “holohoax” to test these.
Only 3 out of the first 10 results aren’t jewed.
Obviously better then Google but give it 6 months and the ADL and SPLC will own the first 3 pages.

Presearch was 100% based 1st page last year, but now it’s only 4 out of the first 15 results.

[ - ] SecretHitler 3 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 19:46:49 ago (+3/-0)

Someone mentioned lycos still existed and that searching for jew stuff was surprisingly uncensored.

[ - ] lord_nougat 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 18:37:06 ago (+1/-0)

They do appear to all have suddenly gotten more useless than they had been. Just a feeling I have had as well.

Is webcrawler still a thing?

[ - ] jammicsmith 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 14, 2022 06:17:12 ago (+0/-0)*

It's shit because it's expensive and nobody wants to pay for it, so you are the product.

https://www.voat.xyz/viewpost?postid=635b32da2fa6e

To the people saying "spider limits" and other issues, issues can be worked around. You can identify with different user agents for sites that penalize your search engine. You can shard you spiders to prevent ip throttling.

And why not verify site owners through a DNS record (or like letsencrypt), and let them upload their index directly?

Or you could get REALLY creative and write a browser plug-in for users to install which would let them add the pages they look at into your index.

The point is, it's possible, and wouldn't be that difficult, technically. It's just expensive and nobody will do it.

Hopefully Musk will eventually.

Yes, they are deleting the internet.

If I want to find something, I use Yandex. And yes, I know it's owned by kikes also...

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 13, 2022 22:33:10 ago (+0/-0)

every search engine you listed is bing

the other search engine is google

nobody keeps their own index anymore

many result are curated
