1. He worked as a carpenter. Extremely rare that a Jew farm himself out to someone for physical labor.

2. Although their first names sound Jewish, the last name Weeks I believe originates in the British Isles (Ireland, mostly?)

3. Many protestants and Quakers of that era had Biblical first names.

you're obviously not basing your reply on the information presented because all the information says they are jews. you looked for the one thing that didn't, his being a carpenter, and tried to ignore everything else to place your hopes on that. if you weren't so low iq, you'd realise that just because most jews don't usually do labour, doesn't mean that none of them ever do so. there are farmers, tradies, labourers in israel today in case you didn't know.
