If you love your family read the lables and never consume soy.

Tip: making your own salad dressing is way easier, and tastier, than I thought. And you decide what type of oil to use. That and you can replace things like mayo with sour cream or cream cheese.

I find my own voice pitch to be a good indicator of how I'm living.

I've noticed after a few days out in nature I almost always come back with a deep, rich vocal tone that sounds relaxed and warm. If I hear it start getting higher pitched and more strained/stressed I know I need to make a change.

I assume this is related to test but it's a practical metric either way.
