I think light skin and intelligence correlate; Im not sure if light skin (lower expression of melanin) directly causes higher intelligence. It seems there are some cognitive impacts of melanin production in the brain, but Im not sure the direct result is ability to do calculus for example.

Rather, there are a set of conditions that lead to lighter skin, larger craniums, higher levels of monogamy and patrilineality — all leading to a more conservative reproductive strategy in which males focus less on destructive competition and more on investing higher levels of resources on a relatively small number of offspring, a strategy which favors high IQs.

Of course grain eaters tend to have lighter skin, supposedly because of vitamn D issues. Did lighter skin lead to lower levels of aggression which then created an environment in which high IQs could thrive?

Are blacks not just ultra violent because they are highly polygamous but because they are black? Im not sure how all these factors work together.
