I finally made a hands down, beyond a doubt, CORRECT decision on something that mattered (life+death).
I know I can hardly believe it either.

....and ooooh how they pushed my buttons, Fear of missing out, I consider myself immune to all strains of FOMO now.
Watching my fellows fall while others mind that none assist, lest they fall next.. The threats were many, I had just gotten the job I'd wanted since a wee tot, and it was sooo good and sooo satisfying and then they closed the fucking world. The craziest part is, it was all over something I read on one of my "crazy websites".

Then we find out there might be something to it, we start to get sick, but is this the sick of the thing or the sick of the lie, spread as the cure. Chest pains, those are new.

There are no comfortable decisions left to make.
We have reached the bottom, only salt and kernels now.
We can look away, but it's still there.

The TV Zombies of old will appear to be sages and scholars when compared with the tube junkies.
I like streaming videos, not against them, but these people.... it's all they know.

The most amusing part to me is, they dont want to know how to download and store media.
They want to stream it down. There is a deep psychological problem therein.
Sense of faux connection, social need replacement, not good news, you see how well they have developed.

There is also the idea that it might be unwise even to try and deprive an industrial city folk of these faux connections.
They have nothing else of that nature to subsist upon, living in a social desert regardless of their dispositions.
That is our modern world and if removing TV makes them stream junkies then honestly the whole thing must be broken.

Cities aren't becoming prisons, they have always been. If this is how the inhabitants cope... what then?
