24 hour emergency veterinary hospitals

I don't live in a city, because I don't like cities. But there are some services that pretty much only cities have that I am occasionally tremendously grateful for. Tonight, I am grateful that I am within an hour of a 24 hour emergency vet. Thank you White people, for caring endlessly about the wellbeing of animals.

im not in a city. here in Germany it is common for vets to have a separate number you can call in emergencies 24/7 and the vet will come to your house.

I was the IT director for a 24-hour animal hospital in honolulu. It's pretty rough work honestly. Dirty, sad, definitely the people who work there earn a living

They certainly cared about the $2000 bill they gave me a couple months ago. My local 24/7 clinic is outrageous on the weekends.

About 20 years ago my wife took a job at a 24hour vet hospital. We thought it would be like the show, ‘Emergency Vet’. The happy to sad outcome ratio was about 4/1, on the show. The reality was much worse than that. Lost of people crying in that place, all the time…

She gave her notice the day after a nigger walked in with a box of puppies that were all having seizures, then he fled. Some sort of poisoning. It was a busy night, so my wife pretty much had to watch these puppies all die. She went back to being an accountant after that.

Nah, fuck them. An animal hospital told me it would be $150/hr for an oxygen chamber to treat labored breathing. I declined. A day later I got some prednisone and it cleared up.
