Our local animal shelter was whining about having no availible kennels and asking the public to help

They are so full they have the euthanize dogs. I took a look at their adoption page. 95% were pitt bulls, the other 5% were very old or sick dogs abandoned by their owners thinking the shelter will meet their medical needs or allow them to dump their aging and starting to become problematic, pet. If the shelter just eliminated the Pitt bulls they would have plenty of room. I will not be adopting any.

That is correct. Steers are castrated at a young age. Same with lamb, same with pigs, etc.

So, OP commenter was right about bull meat being not tender, but was wildly incorrect about all your meat being female. That is just patently false.

Most, not all, but veal comes from dairy cattle, not beef cattle. Beef cattle are worth more as adults than as veal, so they castrate them into steer, and raise them to maturity before sending to feedlot for fattening prior to slaughter.

Male dairy calves are worthless as adults, as their meat is low end, barely Select, whereas Angus, hereford, and other beef breeds start near Choice. But as veal, male dairy cows can be sold at a premium, and can therefore get value from them, at roughly 4-5 hundredweight, rather than a fully mature steer which will live weigh at around 12-14 hundredweight.

Your shelter should either hire, or find a generous, qualified trainer who will volunteer there, who can assess and train those dogs to improve their behavior and their adoptability. Pits can be excellent dogs, but they need lots of structure and training, and to be placed with responsible people who understand and respect what kind of animal they are adopting. All too often, bleeding heart retards adopt powerful untrained dogs with behavioral problems, don't give them the training or structure they need, and then expose them to conditions that endanger themselves or others.

Also, Mexicans and niggers should be banned from owning and breeding dogs, as their inate retardation has created the problems we see in society today with pits and other breeds. Banning beaners and niggers from America and every other white nation would of course work even better.

My last dog died before he ran into too many issues but the other one we got around that time has gimpy back legs and needs help up the stairs. There is no way I would dump the old bastard off at a shelter. We're in it to the end!

Besides, he still has fun on his small, and very slow, walks.

My sister runs a dog shelter. Mostly pitt bulls. Mexicans love them. She is a no kill shelter; sends them off to an organization the specializes in pitt's.
