man, there are tons of black kids at our local library. they NEVER touch a book. they are ALWAYS on the computers playing games or watching rap videos. it's basically a day care so the parents (parent?) doesn't have to watch them.

i point this out to my kids every time, and later we discuss how we will be considered racist because we get educated and get decent jobs while they do NOTHING and get no jobs.

Same here, running around in packs screaming and amuck like a playground, and not a parent in sight, and during school hours.

I'd really like to say you are wrong, but man, I am not sure I can. Theoretically, my kids will get a job, to do the work that the diversity hire isn't doing, because my kids are educated and actually work. Sucks that they will probably need to work alongside the diversity hire, though...

If I see a spider in my house, I catch it and carefully move it out to the garden where it can fulfill its purpose. I don’t do this with ants, especially the black ones, I squash them on sight, poison them if there is more than one. I go scorched earth on them.

Depends on the spider, many are territorial and bite when startled. So this puts them on the shit list if they’re anywhere near my bed or shit I have to grab all the time, like drawers or in my tools.

True, there is a qualifier, I spot a black widow, it gets an amazed look from me, then a squishing. Any spider than can actually hurt me gets an immediate death sentence. The vast majority of spiders I encounter are harmless to me. I’m quick to recognize the bad ones. Just like snakes, I can tell the difference between a venomous one and a harmless one. However I leave the venomous ones alone if they are not a threat to me. They serve a purpose by keeping the rodent and other vermin population under control. They don’t mess with me, I don’t mess with them.

I have an aquatic turtle. I spot a cockroach “meat is back on the menu!” I don’t hesitate to grab and toss it into my turtles tank. The ending is brutal. I catch one every few months, so the meat treat is few and far between. I bought a bag of goldfish once, that was too cruel to witness.
