I wanted to go to Woodstock 94, but it was mainly because I was 15 and wanted to see some free love titties.

I never went and would have likely hated it.

Yeah I was in Australia for the Woodstock 69 event and the whole thing was a non-event at least from my perspective, I had no idea the term was aught but a proper noun until the "Woodstock" character appeared in the Charles Schultz newspaper cartoon "Peanuts," sometime after that I found out it had been a four day rock concert held in torrential rain in the US.

I had heard Jimi Hendrix' Woodstock rendition of Star Spangled Banner with a woefully out of tune guitar before that, however it was not until much later I found out it was him playing - which forever turned me off of him incidentally - and at which venue.

Woodstock is a condensed version of why hippies are disgusting

My theory has always been that the primary objective of Woodstock 69 was to act as a mass-brainwashing operation. LSD was invented by the US government, and we know for a fact they experimented with it on private citizens. I think this was done on a mass scale at Woodstock. Consider the possibility that hits of infamous "brown acid" were never actually circulated amongst the crowd. Just a whole lot of regular acid. What took place could actually have been a mass-psychosis event triggered by someone getting on stage and suggesting to the crowd that bad acid was making people freak out. LSD makes the user very vulnerable to suggestion. The Feds thought they could use it to reprogram minds. "Free love" was about destroying the bonds between the sexes. It has worked remarkably well.
