It went from 85 to 70 when they realized that 90% of American niggers would be listed as retarded if they kept it at 85... I am not 100% sure this is true but I've read it and heard it enough to believe it is.

85 is one standard deviation from the norm. Scientifically it makes sense to place it there, as we also still keep "gifted" up at 115. Though IQ is one of the most messed-with areas of study for obvious reasons so finding the info again is a huge pain in the dick.

One thing the Army found out when recruiting early on was that a soldier with an IQ of 85 or below wasn't even worth having as cannon fodder. It literally took more resources and manpower than they got out of having the retards stand in front to catch bullets.
