I know this is an unpopular opinion, but, I have come to the realization that no site will ever be like Voat. Though I agree with a post I saw a few days back that Voat changed the world, no other site will ever come close to what Voat really was.

I understand the need to denounce degenerates and their agenda to pervert what free speech is all about.

After Voat, and leaving Poal because of AOU's faggotry, I realized that there would never be a real Freedom of Speech site. There would never be a real cause for defending it because, when realizing that freedom of speech requires to accept the good with the bad, people on different corners or the room will present different boundaries and perspectives. This, the site administrator and team of moderators cannot accommodate in full.

There will always be someone playing near the boundaries and testing crossing them and so on and so forth. All because they have a problem with authorities already established and they live to confront and generate chaos. Paying attention to them by letting them know that we care about what they do, basically feeds their arrogance. And they go full on degeneracy to create more chaos.

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Not paying attention to their actions, is also negligent but, where do we draw the line so we don't let their actions affect our everyday lives?

I have seen people tell @system that they don't envy his position, and I understand why. We are contempt with the fact that we have a site where we can feel connected to others that think like us - this coming from a Christian that often gets scorned by lots of blasphemous and ignorant opinions of the Word of God, here.

Should I also push for those blasphemers to be banned because they mock me, my faith and my brethren in Christ? Or should I show the rest how their behavior does not affect me and let them know why it in fact justifies my beliefs?

I have taken the posture where I understand where you come from with denouncing their degeneracy. I thank you for making me aware of their activity, though I was aware of it well before this site came online - as they were also present in Voat.

Some people call Freedom of Speech an illusion as they prefer to ban what they don't like, specially degenerates like the users you denounce.

But, I rather use them as an example on why is better to debate their position and show to the world their stupidity so the ground they stand becomes so feeble that they no longer find value in their actions by staying here.

And if they stay, which they probably will, realize that their degeneracy is not going to contaminate my mind and the minds of my fellow brethren.

I know they are weak in Spirit, and as such, they will focus their fight in the flesh.

I simply lurk, and what I like I upvote, what I don't I downvote, and in many more occasions, ignore.

Their behavior will not shutdown the desire to find a place to inform ourselves outside of the mainstream media and how to identify controlled opposition.

Their lives are of no value to mine nor my friends and family.

Their choices are between them and God, and in life they will pay for their crimes. In eternity they will pay for their rejection to Christ.

So with these words I tell you, if you find purpose in letting them contaminate your existence to persecute them, you are letting your own pride contaminate your cause and hence you will not prevail as they feed on your attention.

And to system, well dude, I like the site as placebo of what Voat was, I respect your position in not letting anybody intimidate you to submission. After all, I live that everyday as a Christian. (Even when degenerates like to say otherwise). I will never value this site like I did Voat, and when finding that this site no longer accommodates my need for information and meme sharing, I will move on.

After all it is the internet... I already know that every side of the asile has people that perverts the definition of Freedom with debauchery. No point in fighting with fools: "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him."
