The trouble is the white knights abound and they are usually in managerial positions e.g. captain of a ship. So I want to imprint on your mind the image of the sinking ship, the white-knight captain bellowing: "women and children first" and half a dozen skinny ratings being denied entry to the lifeboat because it is full and occupied by two enormously fat females and one child.
