This is not new. I recall at a public school in Melbourne in the 1980s there was a "special" class which I hated where they would talk about aborigines and read stories about the "dream time" and all that nonsense. There was one day that really stuck with me, we were taught that when the first ships arrived in Australia they buried the Aboriginal babies in the sand and kick their heads off. I was about 8 at the time but here's the kicker I didn't believe it even at that age, just found it confusing in a sense of "is that even possible?".

My god I know we are supposed to teach them yada yada but let them enjoy childhood and early adolescence while they can. They are adults way longer than they'll be children.

My husband saw a black guy get visibly angry and scratch out a " white people Rock" sticker . Had a little old lady in a rocking chair. Right in front of him.

Then the guy apologizes to him and says that he can't help it those kind of racist stickers make him so mad and that stickers are graffiti anyways and have to be removed.

Husband kept silent. Guy was probably afraid of a warning or something.

They think he's management but he's not. He's just the only white guy on that shift.

Man , you should see if the text messages his supervisor sends him. They're white too and ohhh I've told him before if you ever wanted to take their job all you have to do is show the text messages to her superior and you can have it.
