Now that the whole mask and vaccine scare is over.
The three people I know who ignored their companies demands for vaccines are still working for said companies.
The company ended up dragging their feet and never did anything.
Just remember next time this happens again. Nobody forced you to get the vaccine. It was always a bluff. The people who refused were never fired Atleast in my experience.
US Airlines are short 13,000 pilots. I just spoke with a pilot for Fed Ex that said he is restricted to domestic flights only because overseas travel requires the experimental DNA altering drug. I am, and shall remain, a Pureblood!
My previous company suspended me when I refused to be vaccinated and refused to test twice weekly to maintain an exemption. They made me clear out my desk and everything else that basically meant I was fired.
After I made it clear for a few days that I wouldn't be coerced, HR sent several emails letting me know that I "voluntarily resigned" my position.
See my post for more details (and a rather amusing comment thread):
I researched this. In the US, it depends on the state. Every labor/employment lawyer I spoke to refused to hear me out as soon as they found out it involved vaccine mandates. The cowards refuse to touch it since there is no legal precedent.
Yes, it really depended where you live. People in Canada and Australia were not only threatened with job losses, but physically as well.
Some of the pureblood braggers here, I suspect, found it far more easy to avoid the vax than in places where the govt and law enforcement were brutalising the population.
My company instituted a bunch of weird arbitrary rules for the office, and I had only been showing up for days when I felt like it, like when my favorite bar right down the street from the office was having an especially cool happy hour or something, so not going at all wasn't hard, and I actually spent more time working, cutting out the two hours of commuting per day wasted. I could instead waste all that time here on this site!
They keep trying to lift the rules and get everyone back in, but then someone randomly tests positive for chinese viruses of some sort and the whole BS starts back up again. I went back last week and it was like a ghost town. Very quiet. I'd like it if I still had my shitty cubicle near the window, but they moved me to the basement. At least I still have my red swingline stapler...
It's true that many corporate employers huffed and puffed and threatened but didn't follow through on firing people. I sent my employer an email saying that they will be risking a lot of law suits if people get injuries from the vaxx. Got no response other than the official line "We want to keep everyone safe" bullshit. I was banned from coming into the office and all social functions and was working at a client site with no vaxx requirements. Bottom line is Police, nurses, teachers, paramedics, pilots did get sacked for not taking it and I know some personally.
Wasn't fired for not getting the vax. Decided to press my luck and refuse the diversity and equity training. Wasn't fired for that. Got a lot of push back from management so I filed a hostile workplace complaint.
I know people who were fired. And people who were forced out without even being legally terminated.
Some HR departments were just doing whatever the hell they please, knowing that they won't ever face legal consequences because the government and courts will have their backs no matter what. While other employers threatened but never had the balls to do anything.
Just depends on where and what exactly you do.
I wouldn't be so quick to assume it's over, either.
The people who got decided that they can force medical procedures on others against their will, and went through with it, never faced any negative consequences for their actions. And, by the looks of it, never will. And so they have no reason not to do it again. In fact, now there is precedent. So next time it will be even easier, and they can be even more smug and self-righteous about it.
Failure to inflict pain upon those who abuse you invites and enables further abuse.
Nurses were absolutely shit-canned because of this.
Us in non-care positions, work from home, NEVER go into the office were hinted around at needing the shot, but nothing concrete.
Have heard jack shit for almost a year. Now, we get a "all care providers" MUST upload booster info by Sept. This time, we're hearing the rest of us will be on the block as well.
My wife was fired from her job near the beginning of this year. Her job was in a hospital so it was bound to happen.
My company tried to get people to do jab attestations and were also going to lock out people from coming into the office by disabling the key fobs of those who either didn't do the attestations or weren't fully poisoned. They postponed it by a couple of months, and eventually ended up dropping it altogether. My guess is not enough people bothered because it's mostly men working here and us dudes aren't as conforming or as cowardly as women.

Well, I do. The mandates were imposed by the power hungry insane premier of this state. The mandates are still in effect today for anyone who works in the health sector, and they might even force the 4th booster.
Last year a friend of my mother's committed suicide because of our two year lockdown and all the other shit our govt was doing.
I know for a fact that a bunch of employees for the 7-11 corporation were fired for refusing the vax. You may not care, quite possibly because you're a middle-class jew-worshiping nigger faggot, but 7-11 lost 42@ of it's employees because of this.
It tickles me pink to thnk all these jew-worshiping middle-clas losers will die of the Mrna "vaccina", and they'll all be replaced by the people who they considered to be "losers". Goddamn, that's hilarious....

I am not saying my situation is common, but it did ultimately happen due to vaccine refusal.

I found another lab doing similar work where basically everyone is conservative and anti-woke, so I can't complain too much.

I personally lost several gigs because of proof of vaccination requirements.
I've been in social media groups where a lot of people got fired, I just don't know any of them personally.
