The utility companies are not making enough power because:
A) they cannot manage the load between peak and off-peak periods due to a shortage of qualified staff (covid related)
B) the govt has capped how much they can charge over what increases they were charging quarterly.
C) the cost of raw materials is a direct result of poor bargaining from individualy run enterprises
D) excuses made with fake proxy war in Ukraine that does not affect any of our fossil fuels or the domestic market when Australia is a net energy exporter of both power and raw materials for power.
E) energy providers want to make the same 'Gross Profit' margin they were making before, to coincide with modern inflation during this current recession. If they can't make for example 55% profit on X energy resource due to cap, they simply reduce supply.
They are intentionally withholding energy resources because they believe they deserve a bigger profit from what they are capable of sharing, so now they are willing of sharing less for the profit they can make based on the govt cap on energy prices.
F) QLD and VIC will not share power with NSW, therefore NSW should immediately cut all of our taxes with the weaker states that cant pay their public service costs like hospitals, roads, and schools.
