Then contact customer service and ask them to justify why it's listed as dangerous. If they can't answer with solid evidence, then stop using them. Microsoft has free AV built into their OS.
How else can one play cs:go on a phone tethered internet connection. I tried for hours to get both MX and Ubuntu to function with my phone internet but the system can't properly work with the proxy used by my tethering app. Steam and cli cant use the internet but browsers with configured proxy can. Anyways fuck u nigger
Malware slows down your system and has annoying pop-ups... wait, I just described Norton.
If you are going to use Windows, create an Administrator account with the password, "InstallVirusNow". Then create a non-administrator account and only use that. Every time your machine wants to modify something, you will have to type in the Administrator password.
If you do get malware, it almost always hides in the same places. The first place to look is the all users startup folder, "%programdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp" and the user startup folder, "%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup". Then open up regedit and do a search (key only) in the Local_Machine and Current_User sections for "RunOnce" where "Run" appears directly above it. Check both run and runonce folders. The last place to check is Task Scheduler. Take screenshots of all these places after a fresh setup or after whenever you install new software. If you come across questionable software, check these folders after you install the software. If you come across something you don't recognize, do a web search for it, there are lots of websites that will tell you what something is. If it doesn't come up in any search, it could be malware.
Ok, I'm going to fess up and say I'm a Norton user as well - and, moreover, an Aussie. After Tarrant did his thing a number of us had old voat blocked by our ISPs.
As of today I can access Voat, so dunno what it is. Might be something else that is an issue.
God damn duclima, delete that bloat. If you must install an anti-virus use Bitdefender. Better still use a combination of anti-malware like Malwarebytes or similar that stop the infection as opposed to managing the infection.
Prevention is better than cure. Or just dont click on dodgy curry links in hotmail and learn how to use torrents properly and manage port forwarding.
Don't expect to have Power Grid, Internet or Updates after 2030-2035 We will need Linux, Offline Update Files and an OS that doesnt need updates every fucking hour as the Smart Surveillance Social Credit Score SHTF rolls out
Run your own DNS. It's not hard, and the software will run on a potato.
I have Pi-Hole setup to do my own DNS filtering with a local blocklist. If the domain isn't in the blocklist, the query gets handed over to Unbound. If it's not in Unbound's cache, then the answer is taken directly from a root server, not anyone else's service.
And since that same device is also acting as my DHCP server, EVERY device on my network is automatically configured to use my local DNS setup.
(Before you say anything, yes, I have Unbound configured to only respond to queries from localhost (Pi-Hole), and Pi-Hole will only respond to queries on the local subnet).
Don't expect to have Power Grid, Internet or Updates after 2030-2035 We will need Linux, Offline Update Files and an OS that doesnt need updates every fucking hour as the Smart Surveillance Social Credit Score SHTF rolls out
If we don't have a power grid or Internet then I don't think we will need Linux or any other OS....

1st Remove that overpriced bloat POS
2nd Bitch slap yourself for using that crud
3rd repeat after me - I will stop being a shit Cunt
---
My recommendations :-
Enter in DNS Watch DNS
Remove google/apple/amazon/microsoft DNS
Replace Firefox with LibreWolf
Replace Chrome with Ungoogled Chromium
Install Noscript
Install Ublock origin
Disable 3rd party coolies
If Windows - Install Malwares AntiBytes (free/freeware)
If Windows - Install calmAV (opensource)
If Windows - Defrag your HDD (Not SSD/M2)
Replace MS office with Libre Office
If Windows - Replace MS media player with VLC or MPC-HC
Anyone that is red pilled, JQ pilled, FE pilled or Based Nationalist
should seriously consider migrating from Windows 7/8/10/11 to Linux
The best based Distro currently is
Dev1 - https://www.devuan.org/os/community
Don't expect to have Power Grid, Internet or Updates after 2030-2035
