They are trying to make this happen so those of us trying to avoid the collapse don't have the time to. They want us to be forced to "accept" their offered solution of a pod in a smart city.

His point that if the parasites can control the demolition, they'll stay on in control and be the ones with the money, makes a lot of sense. Since they deliberately caused it, it would be wrong to let even one of them remain at large.
