Their science is the studies and whatnot coming out of current academia. They are invariably wrong, poorly thought out, badly (and intentionally) mangled math/statistics, with methodologies and data collection of a child.

But it fits their narrative and so it gets to pass. Anyone doing real science better be very, very fucking careful to stay within their narrative or get yeeted from academic institutions and blacklisted forever in a field that takes decades to get anywhere.

The issue, exasperated by HR and lawyers (echoes implied), is that the hiring process is long and tedious for companies and anything government related. This means that before you even work your first day the company has spent a lot of time and money on you. It is also difficult to undo a hire if it doesn't work out.

Hiring for any job, say mcdonalds, should be as easy as it is for a tradesman or lawn mowing boy. They are all jobs where labor is exchanged for money. Creating these barriers decreases the meritocracy, and really hurts small businesses that have these hoops. If we can decouple health care from jobs then everyone could be contractors and remove this nonsense. All things like PTO are nonsense, getting a paid day off is the same as getting a 1/365 pay raise, but NPCs don't understand that.

Healthcare is only coupled to jobs in the US because it is a benefit employers pay that the government does not tax. Abolish the bullshit income tax and it would go away as a benefit. Or remove it as an exemption.

I can't really understand what she's saying because it starts in the middle. Recruiters are people who get paid when candidates get a job. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot by filtering people, I guess they can, but my experience is they like to encourage a lot of people to apply and get them interviews so someone will get hired and they get paid.
