Will 20k cash even buy a decent used vehicle anymore?

I'm looking online and all of the used light SUVs are 25k+. Even as far back as 2017 models.

That being said, does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking a newer model Subaru outback.

Im looking for something that checks off everything in this list:

Decent fuel economy
Easy to fix/abundant spare parts in the US

Short list, I know.

I can go as high as 30k, but I wanted to stick to 20.

Just FYI that’s no longer a good deal for used and new car dealers. They get a commission from the bank loan. If you go in there and mention you are paying cash.. you won’t get a deal and there will be no wiggle room at all. Seriously.. avoid mentioning cash to these jew car dealers until the very last moment.
