Lynyrd Skynyrd isn't even from Alabama, they're from Florida. I would actually say Stairway to Heaven is Zeppelins Free bird and visa versa. Both have shitty guitar solos, both are too fucking long, and both get way too much attention when you consider the rest of both bands catalogues.

Edit:The fucking obnoxious tempo changes in both.

Nah, I love Skynyrd. Gimme back my bullets is a classic, and needle and a spoon is an up tempo better version of sweet home Alabama. I just hate Free bird. Worst guitar solo in southern rock history.
