there will not be a global currency. the only thing you'll see like that is due to such rapid trading of currencies and information as to the adjustment of other currencies, that it appears to be one, but i don't know how that could happen with the brush fire wars around the corner in east europe, the middle east and east asia. it should not explode into a full on conflict but there should be fighting in those areas, and the US dollar should largely be pulled out of those areas.

we already have a one global currency with the USD because everything that wishes to go anywhere outside of any country has to change currency through the USD, and with this system there are possible delays in the chain where a currency is under or over valued.
