Yeah, basically...it's them trying to replace nature (God's creation) with something they've created themselves. It's classic lack of hubris, Icarus, the tower of Babble, etc. and it's a cyclic thing that happens in human history over and over again. As soon as they start to succeed it will collapse upon itself because it's so horridly unnatural. I'm just trying to set myself up to be able to avoid the debris.

I look forward to it at this point. All my wildest fantasies of thorough revenge are actually going to happen and I just need to sit back and let it happen. I'm starting to realize God is actually fair.

You have used the word "hubris" incorrectly, it means "excessive pride or self-confidence", so it's not lack of hubris, but too much hubris.

EDIT: So I guess I've thought that lack of hubris meant you lack regard for the divinely fixed limits on human action...I can see the argument for the opposite even in the definition I gave. I think my overall point in the comment is easy to understand though.
