Firstly, thank you for your assistance to date. You might recall my monitor would fade. Seems the monitor, not the box/tower, was the problem as I replaced it with an ancient but adequate monitor and no fading...but this f..king pop-up (see attached image) pops up and often stays popped up. Sorry to cuss.

The Internet tells me:

1. Go to Display and turn off auto brightness etc button. There is none.
2. On external Monitors i.e this one, the brightness button is located on the monitor. Can't find it on this one.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
