Those newer receipts have a bunch of chemicals in the ink/paper. I wouldn't want to be a cashier touching them all day

I know the margins are slim, but it seems like some things are rising quite a bit faster than others. I see "$17" and just think of how i could get 8oz of filet and some asparagus for that price... or i could make 10 burgers.

$39 for me and my bro today for 5 Guys 2 burgers, 2 drinks, and 1 small fry.

Yeah people used to read books back then. They still do, but they used to, too.

People who ate at taco bill read so much that they had to go to the library.

McDonalds used to have cheeseburger days for $0.20 each. We on the night shift would order something like 100-120 and just have a giant pile of burgers in the shop all night.

Wait until you see pre-central 1913 bank receipts.

Nice! The chilito was my jam. I haven’t eaten bell in years. The manager of this one was promoted to regional manager a while back and it went to shit.

Make your own. I love taco night. Goat meat from a friend, keto-friendly wraps and shells, fresh vegetables from the farmer's market, it's great.

Fuck, man. Goat meat keto tacos? You know how to live.

[ - ] FalseRealityCheck 0 points 2.1 yearsMar 26, 2022 23:56:32 ago (+0/-0)

I make my own, but with hamburger. They are better than any tacos I've ever eaten at a restaurant, or toxic waste disposal sites like Taco Hell.

That was one thing I always liked about Taco Bell back in the day. You could get a pile of different foods for only a couple of bucks.

You expect me to believe this is real when the total is about tree fiddy?

The dollar has made a number of corrections since then. It's generally a good thing when an asset corrects towards its intrinsic value.

in that case it has a ways to go still.

I was thinking of starting a food truck. In Philly, they can make a ton of money. I would just sell my bean chili burrito that I came up with while a vegetarian for over twenty years.

Mean-eaters loved me silly recipe with just the beans and not even in a burrito.

I guess I would also add my dead mom's candied ham recipe. Just slices of ham that my friends fought over. All you get. LOL. Either Ham or veggie burrito shit ultra cheap.

Something I noticed about Taco Bell (not that ive checked in a few years) is the total price came to 6.66 and 13.13 bizarrely frequent.

Back when you could spend less than $5 to feel like crap later. Oh no, Y2k!

And it was already Chinese industrial waste back then, and served by niggers.

Taco bell is lacking these days. All their stuff has something I dont want on it and asking them to make it without that item is only successful about 50% of the time.

No address on receipt

[ - ] mongre 0 points 2.1 yearsMar 27, 2022 10:30:55 ago (+0/-0)

Went there for the first time in years. Thought I'd grab a bunch of different stuff for nostalgia, tacos, bean burritos, etc but (what I thought back in the day) a big pile of "food".

I get home and start eating...IT'S HARDLY EVEN FOOD!!! I mean everything...the tortillas, the beans, the meat, the cheese...everything tasted like literal fake crap. It tasted nothing like taco bell used to. Just filler. I am amazed at how truly awful they have become. Oh well...taco bell in the 70s was the bomb.
