Most adults today are like children, they act like children, think like children do, and are treated like children are by their society.

The boy or girl whose mind will never grow up is not the pleasant thing that Hollywood has continually told us it was, like a domestic abuser, the manchild can be fun to be around, almost addictively so.

But the charm wears off when you see the dark side to those who exhibit this mental condition, a child with the power of an adult is the stuff of horror, they can hurt you and change you like no other, living around them will quickly turn from a fun paradise to a living hell, a nightmare that you can't just wake up from.

The thing about collectivism is that it straps the individual of their maturity and encourages them to never change their habits, anything they do is the fault of everyone but themselves, there's nothing they can feel ashamed of, but also nothing to feel proud about, either.

Unsurprisingly, the society takes the immature approach of telling people that pride is something you simply have, rather than being connected to anything you do, the productive are this lumped in with the useless (which is bad for society) and with the destructive (which is even worse for society).

If everyone is equal, than everyone has the exact same value, the lowest common denominator of value, which is zero. The result of the creation of the new socialist man, who is perfectly altruistic and thus treats everyone equally, is one who treats everyone like they don't matter at all.

There's a reason why I reject an omnibenevolent God, because loving everything equally, an all encompassing love that rejects preferences, particularity, partiality, exclusivity, conditionality, etc. Is going to turn out in practice to be the kind of empty hollow love that a psychopath would show you, indistinguishable from apathy and indifference, except when using whoever is at hand as a tool.forba specific purpose.

To value everyone equally just means that all people are faceless and interchangeable, ultimately expendable, the mass murder of millions is not anything to worry about since you could either make those numbers back up, or be satisfied with what you have, a person-tool is only important for what you can do with them at the time when they can be made useful, they can be discarded because when everyone matters to you, nobody does.

Since the loss of anyone is just as heartbreaking as the loss of anyone else, the choices are to live in constant mourning, or to shut off your heart completely, expressing yourself when expected to just to satisfy the convenience of others.

Perhaps that is why people's thoughts and emotions seem to be dictated to them by the media, they themselves have killed genuine feeling about anything, and are now just exhibiting the kinds of reactions they think are expected of them. They put on emotional meltdowns not because they actually care about something, but because they think they are expected to care about it. Its a show, and because it's a show, they greatly overplay their part.

Oh yes, children. Yes, we live in a world of people who are forever children and capable of all manner of malice for the pettiest of reasons. At a moment's notice, they can turn against you, fly into a rage, or carry out some act of vengeance upon you for something that they don't actually care about, but instead think that they should be seen to care about.

If they don't like something, they just avoid it, they kick you out, silence you pretend you don't exist, anything to avoid having the troubling thing in their minds. But since they don't genuinely care about anything but approval from their peers and society as a whole, what they are truly upset about is how you threaten to turn the consensus of opinion in their society against what they had portrayed themselves to be uo till then.

They are afraid that the roles of the good and bad guys will change places as society's cultural values shift around, when they used to fit in, they now do not, they will become at odds with what is expected of them.

Considering how they know what they would do to such a person, they understandably are terrified of this eventuality. They hope to die before the culture changes its mind about the roles they had played up till now.

Another horror about these types, that they think everyone else is just like they are, even those that disagree with them, because they are acting out of a need for approval, so too must their enemies, you must be just a hollow inside as they are, your actions just as fake.

So when we are seen to disagree with one another, or to have a diversity of views, many of which are so unpopular as to be given strong disapproval, it shakes them up.

They can't believe that we don't just want to fit in as the end all be all of our existences.

We are full, they are empty, if they are the light, we are the darkness.
