Depends on your time frame. Arguably two things changed. First, the country was hit by a novel virus and variants. Second, they rolled out an experimental vaccine. Australia really pushed that vaccine, though. There's a good chance most of those affected were vaccinated.

I liked that one, the way it is written is pure cope. Effect, therefore cause, except the obvious cause would prove oneself wrong and therefore cannot be the case. Also stop typing without presenting an alternative hypothesis or at least asking what else could be the cause.
