Oh who knows. I was never banned from the site. I just ended up with the grayed out account and a one comment per 5 minute throttle. I never did shit to deserve it. I probably called him a liar about a dozen times but that was after I was shadow banned.

First one had to do with something along these lines.
2nd through 5-6 ones had to do with that time something fishy was going on with new voat and I think @system (correct me if I’m wrong) mentioned an ip or isp from Texas and pmyb2 (rip) sperged out that it wasn’t him.although at that point no one atleast openly was blaming him so by saying it wasn’t him it made it seem like it was him .I had a little back and forth which unfortunately I didn’t screen grab and eventually got soft banned on a bunch of accts but I’d just make a new acct that was basically the same as the other one same names just variations on spelling or numbers instead of letters not sure if a vpn helped with that but after a few days of being soft banned I was accused of having a bunch of alts which I had but they were all unusable and I only made them because they’d get soft banned and I wanted to keep the argument going. Anyway after a while I just quit bothering there was only a few people here but at the time it was still better.
That was a year or so ago so not sure that’s exactly how it went down but close enough.

Didn't get banned, i just stopped logging in. Started to notice some old goats not posting anymore. Then a few good people had their accounts nuked or locked out and i couldn't ask them about it so I asked aou. he gave me contrived excuses about "going crazy with downvotes".

Then i caught up with a few of them on other platforms and they all denied that. When i asked aou about it, he just got super spergy/angry, wouldn't address it directly. Eventually I had to decide if i believed aou or the few dozen other people who all said he fucked with them in similar stories.

I was never banned, but I got fed up with AOU's faggotry and deleted every post and comment I made (just to make sure they weren't archived) and deleted my account.

I didn't like the idea of people "following" me and my not knowing who they were. It made me very uneasy and I asked for a feature be added that would tell users who is following them. AOU said "lol, no" and gave some lame excuse about it keeping trolls under control.
