Pretty demonstrable that there are various forms of social manipulation (both inside & outside actors) in these spaces.

If I had access to near infinite funding, and needed to keep a relative proportion of the Internet connected users who were slightly above room-temperature IQ contained.. I would weaponize the machine learning capabilities to create a containment zone to make them (mostly) harmless.

So, if that's what I would do with unlimited funding.. I simply presume that's what is being done to us.
