I got an air fryer

Aka convection oven. It works great, I bought a nice one for $230. It has a paddle that slowly sirs the food while cooking to insure even cooking. I can take the paddle out for certain foods. I like it because it is more compact than a typical air fryer. It also only has one button (on). No fancy LCD with useless different temps tire options. Just like cooking in oil you only need one temperature. I like simplicity. I'm not sure what to cook in it. I just made nuggets and they were good. I guess it has two buttons, I forgot it has a timer on it. It also has a window so I can see the food and determine when it is done. I took the paddle off for my nuggets because I rest it can knock off the breading. I eat a lot of tater tots so this device will be useful. Final push.....one more..... Flush.

It's pretty good. Not really a fryer, more convection oven.

Air frier can replace a ton of shit.

By far though the best thing that it cooks is chicken thighs. Bone in skin on. Beats any method out there.

Does really good on wings too.

Lowering the temperature to like 275 it makes hard boiled eggs fast and easy as well.

No fancy LCD

We replaced a toaster oven last year with an LCD one and it was so fucking tedious to use. Want to change the temperature? A bunch of button presses. Add a few minutes? A bunch of button presses. Change the mode from convection to bake? Have to stop and clear the current mode and start over.

Recently found a larger one with old-style all-mechanical controls and it's back to being able to start it in one second rather than half a minute.

They're great for bacon. Makes it so easy and fast. Not to mention easy clean up.
