I would like to make a comment along the lines that I think Australia's immigration/refugee/multicultural policies are daft but do not want to infringe 18C.

When the first travel bans prevented people from moving in and out of Australia an inside contact of mine had something interesting to say. Paraphrased: "No they haven't. Inbound immigration only stopped for some countries"

I wouldn't put it past them both to have 10 or 20 people living in a 2 bedroom and then lying on the census because some are illegal.

About 120 years ago we built a 3,256 km Rabbit-Proof Fence to protect Australia. It's still working.

All we have to do is build a Foreigner-proof fence along 36,735 kilometres of coastline.

That is, as soon as they let us leave our homes again. (and give us our guns back)
