Lol my previous employer (a bougie cosmetic dermatology clinic) wanted all the techs in the office to do a TikTok for marketing. The dermatologist told me he didn't want me in it since I don't "fit the aesthetic like the other girls". I'm 6 feet tall, my next tallest coworker is 5'3. My coworkers were even madder than me and all five of us quit within a few weeks. Two of them came with me to my new job. The stupid TikTok thing was the straw that broke the camels back for all of us. The dermatologist/owner was a sexist jerk and kept referring to us as his girls, would sexually harass all of us and then chew us out for not taking a joke, called me a lot of gross sexual nicknames related to my height, etc. I know all of that makes the TikTok thing seem pretty small, but we were all so fed up with him that it gave us the final push to quit. The dermatologist does not practice anymore and one of my coworkers sued him for sexual harassment and won.

Fun lil side info, when covid was going around at my workplace and I thought I had contracted it, so naturally I go to get tested. Both my rapid tests come back negative and my pcr never came through. So I at this point I'm fairly sick and my boss is busting my balls hard saying I need to come in. So I go get 2 more pcr tests (the ones that take a few days)and a doctor's note. but my boss calls and tells me that my 2 negatives trump my feelings and a doctor's note. So in a heated debate I educate him on the inaccuracy of rapid testing, he says he'll do research and call me back. He calls me back and admits I'm right, but still says I'm psyching myself out. I say too bad, 3 days later both my pcr tests comeback positive.

"Hah! My PCR test that can't differentiate between the coof and the flu is positive! See! I told you I had the coof!"
