Why not build them in North Africa?

It's already vacant land with high winds, open spaces where nothing grows and all the sand and soil that blows over the Atlantic will only clog up the wind turbines in the cleared amazon.

and the funny thing is, the wind dies down a lot at night, its almost still in my area when it gets dark.

they are as useful as solar panels
