No seasoning, no salt, no marinade. There will be no taste. Even just a splash of oil or soy sauce or lemon juice on the meat can add a bloom of flavor. Nice browning on the outside though but that meat is going to be dry as hell.

Very cool novelty but its just so much more practical to cook on an open fire.

Doesn't seem like it would cook evenly. Stuff at the bottom would be well done and the stuff at the top might be rare.
