I wonder how dangerous that missile is at that point? Was the detonator defective or is it one bump from making a crater?

It's a defective bomb, but they would clear the immediate area of all personal and send in EOD to check and make a detonation if it is required.

Explosive Ordinance Demolition Techs are very well trained and always make the recommendation as to what happens next. The safest way is to blow it up once the area is cleared of all personnel and equipment. The problem with this one is the detonator is buried in the ground. But i'm not an EOD Tech so I wouldn't really know what to do. Basically I am making a guess as to how they would handle it.
