Atrazine is an herbicide used on corn and sugarcane and a few other crops. US uses 80 million lbs a year. Aus uses it too. Its outlawed in Europe.
Tyrone Hayes, a biologist, describes the effects on frogs of levels of atrapine which are found in rain water in some areas (deemed safe levels by EPA).
By triggering aromatase release, atrapine converts testosterone in to estrogen, which creates asexual “eunich” frogs, gay frogs and even functionally female (but genetically male) frogs. It may be linked with some cancers like prostate cancer and breast cancer.
Presentation is around an hour. If you only want to watch about 5 minutes, start around minute 34. Towards the end he tries to make it all about niggers which is annoying.
Im not sure if any significant amounts actually end up in corn. It degrades pretty quickly in soil. But if you live in a heavy usage area like the midwest, it could be in your water according to this guy.

Off memory, it had the same guy in it.
Atrazine is a known endocrine disruptor, with amphibians being an invaluable ecosystem indicator akin to the canary in the coal mine.
