Really, Salt water will produce chlorine? I built one of these generators into a car and averaged a 20% increased mileage for about 3 years.
Must have done 2000+ hrs of research and R&D to get it built and working. But although I’m sure there are some out there now, out of the 1000s of people online claiming to make these things work, I’m absolutely convinced 99.999% of them have never increased a cars mpg. There’s always 1-2 elements they get blatantly wrong that prove it’s impossible they did it.
Either way, I’d be curious to know which methods someone might be able to efficiently store hydrogen though? There’s always some cool diy way to use waste energy to convert to useful energy. And turning waste electricity into hydrogen could be pretty great if it’s storable. But that means compression.
Submarines use electrolyze radar for oxygen. They can’t use the seawater because they’ll all die from chlorine gas poisoning.
I have filled pits with the gas as an experiment and it works. I can have a put full of chlorine gas just waiting for something to fall in and not make it out.
Compression of the hydrogen makes it not energy efficient unless you plan on using it for something specific, welding maybe? I don’t know what other gasses they use other than acetylene.
I use hho gas to make noise to scare off animals. Have the setup connected to motion sensors and when something wanders into the yard a few seconds later they’ll be hearing what sounds like pistols blasting away at them. I haven’t found a better use yet, just found this interesting enough to post.
That is interesting! Didn’t realize that about submarines either.
As far as hydrogen goes, if you do find yourself in a place to have an abundance of it, compressed or not, you can run any internal combustion engine in it. You just have to over ride the O2 sensor because hydrogen exhaust is oxygen, so your computer responds by dumping in more fuel.
Be sure to post a video of some kind if you do. But as long as it’s not the kind of two-stroke you need to mix gas for, It could work. Although it’s five times more combustible and gasoline, so port injection should work just fine if you can figure out a way to moderate the flow.

It helps you hydrate better on a molecular level, do not suggest using it for trespassers. Chlorine gas is better for trespassers.
