I have nothing bad to say about Weird Al. He's a decent guy and he always asks the original artist for permission before he makes a parody song. He steers clear of anything political or controversial because he knows when you introduce something that can polarize people, you lose a part of your audience. He's just a funny, clever, goofy guy who's been successfully making records for 40 years and we have to respect him for that.

Oh, this is good: I found a link to an old Gilbert Gottfried interview with Weird Al. He starts off saying about Weird Al, "You've never been to the Friar's Club. I think that's because people only think you're a jew. People assume you're a jew. You're ugly and annoying, you must be a jew!" This comes up very early in the interview, after about three minutes.

Just another reminder that no one is more obsessed with who is and is not a jew than the jews.

I’ve been listening to weird al ever since I was a young lad. Cassette tape player blasting “everything you know is wrong” and “my bologna” on my way to the bus stop. I still check out his new stuff from time to time.

I never liked that guy from day one. He should have never been allowed to be anything.
