When I was first married I had to teach my wife how to drive. Not long after she asked my to teach her how to change a tire, in case she was alone and had a flat. So I'm sitting in the shade telling her what to do, I had to help her get the lug nuts loose, but taught her how to place the lug wrench so she could stand on it to break the lug nuts loose. Eventually the nosey bitch next door came out and started cussing me for making my wife change the tire while I just sat there.

Ha ha, what a dumb biddy. My dad put me through the same exercise that you did your wife and I am still thankful to this day. Even came in handy when I had to teach one of the young guys at work how to do this instead of waiting for AAA to come change it for him. That made me shake my head.

My friend got a Tesla a while back, and the instructions are to not change any tires yourself.

Only Tesla authorized mechanics "technically" have the knowledge of where to put the jack to prevent damage to the battery pack.

I saw one empty on the side of the e'way last week. This is kind of a dumb question as I know they run out of juice, but shouldn't that driver have known they were low or is there a back up kind of thing they were relying on?
