For example, studies on animal cognition show that male rodents engineered to lack forebrain oxytocin receptors recognized but no longer discriminated between familiar (in-group) and novel (out-group) stimulus females (20, 21). If brain oxytocin indeed sustains and motivates human ethnocentrism at the neurobiological level, we should find that humans given oxytocin show more in-group favoritism than those given placebo.
Okay but why? These were adults that were administered oxytocin.
Babies get early doses of oxytocin during breast feeding. This is when a baby is imprinting on its mom who is presumably of the same race. So perhaps later exposure to oxytocin causes this imprinting to be recalled.
What implications does this have for the use of formula over breast milk in this context?
Babies begin producing their own oxytocin even before they are born, and it looks as though they respond a lot like adults. For instance, skin-to-skin contact appears to raise oxytocin levels in both parents and infants (Vittner et al 2018).
Reread what I said. There is no strength in numbers if you don’t have altruism among your own group. Niggers are never very strong in numbers for the reason that they kill themselves nearly as readily as whites. Altruism works in an ethnocentric (homogeneous) society. It is not an either/or issue.
Oxytocin promoted intergroup bias: Under oxytocin, males were more likely to sacrifice out-group targets than in-group targets [F(1, 68) = 17.27, P < 0.001]; under placebo, this tendency was not significant [F(1, 68) = 1.17, P < 0.284].
My earlier point is that you can condition people to accept someone out-group as ingroup. Thats why they put all those niggers on sesame street. Oxytocin effect will vary based on conditioning.

Love is not true without an accompanying hate for that which threatens what is loved.
Universal love is as paralyzing as Universal apathy, bit at least the latter is genuine, Universal love is a fake platitude without meaning.

Im not trying to ask why ethnocentrism makes sense in evolution. Altruism really makes the most sense in an ethnocentric context. Mostly.
