I have been. I was spending some of my time by calling restaurants and making reservations, then canceling at the last minute or no call, no show.

I’m going to do this now. It’ll be good to have a kind conversation while trying to fix things. Maybe I’ll reach someone.

You can call every restaurant in Honolulu. Hawaii is the tip of the spear that is pushing the most draconian lockdowns, and it's hours behind, so you can do it all in the evening/after hours. Just Google map restaurant in downtown Honolulu and go ham. There's only 3 or 4 that DON'T require Vax IDs (and they are constantly in litigation with the Hawaii DOH), and they don't take reservations. The rest do, AND require the Jab ID. Yup. Same where I am. Business park and every single business has a now hiring sign. There are even 'other' businesses not in that park that are advertising. Every corner 'local agency' hiring signs. All over. Billboards for Harbor Freight. Billboards for Michael's Distribution center. Billboards for Dollar General distribution. These aren't retail jobs. These are good jobs. $19+ to start at Harbor Freight. Sign on bonuses (yes, I know these are a scam, but still). Dunkin Donuts warehouse... $23/hr.

That sounds like my former employer, they hire people in groups of six and only one guy would stay by the end of the training because they lie about how much you’ll be on the road. At least that’s the biggest problem is that people seem to have, there’s clearly more than just one issue causing such a huge problem. It really sucked how busy we were getting up until I quit and started working for myself in the same field freelance. If companies can’t keep workers employed to do the job that means there’s plenty of freelance work to do for yourself. I went from working for someone else to working for myself making over triple the amount. I work one or two days a month now and I paid out of pocket for the midwives for my first babies birth. Health insurance didn’t cover a dime, and it was still cheaper than why some kiked hospital would take from my pockets with health insurance.

The company spends about 120k each year for two years to train each person, not including the new hire’s salary of at least 50K. Most of these guys quit at month 16 when they start shadowing a senior tech. They live the life for a week or two and bail lol.

We've always homeschooled but over the summer she was offered a position working at a provincial park and it rolled into the school year. Kids are being watched by her mother but it's unsustainable, she's old and they aren't learning anything but my wife's contract was set to end in January. Clotshot gives her 2 more weeks.

You can save so much money by growing your own food in HDPE plastic buckets.

Compost your food waste and use that to fertilize your plants.
Have two egg laying chickens per adult.
Get two does and one buck rabbit for a meat supply. You can mate them every two/three months, I mate them every four but that’s only because I have a backlog of meat.
My next animal is tilapia, I have plans to build a fishery for them.

Doing this will give you fertilizer from the rabbits, the chickens will spread it for you. Eggs are underrated and rabbit is great when you give it flavor.

Even if you get another job this vaccine shit will rear it’s ugly head there, and the grocery stores will probably want to force the same. It’s probably best for you to supply your own food and water as best you can. Work odd jobs for cash when you need it.

I live on a homestead and my monthly costs are are extremely low. I work on specialist equipment so I work one or two days a month and walk home with a month or two worth of money.

Incorporate and contract with your former employer as a 1099 employee, charge them more because you don't have benefits. Consider hiring others who are also quitting, and keep the amount under 100 employees.
