It seems there was a non-sapien ancestor that diverged from common human ancestry BEFORE neanderthal/denisovan, around 700 kya according to their math, and then there was a significant introgression event around 30,000 ya or so (muh dick). This is an ancestor that has not been confirmed in the archeological record, they are just presumed to have existed.
The genes are pretty frequent in yorubans and a few other W african tribes. Averaging around 7 or 8 percent, with a range of values up to 19%.
Theres another study that found a mutant MUC7 gene (a saliva protein) in W. Africans that is from an ancestor predicted to have diverged from our common ancestry > 4 million ya. By some chink. Chinks and dotheads are doing alot of the non-pozzed research in anthropology and also covid drug trials Ive noticed. Probably a lot of other fields.
I assume that this is because this african “ghost population” was also introgressed by an even MORE primitive homonin at some point before making contact with homo sapiens.
I don’t really think earlier divergence means this population was necessarily stupider, but hot climates do not promote high IQs. If this breed were hyperviolent, it would explain alot.
This is also a good opportunity to point out that I believe SS Africans are actually HEAVILY introgressed by EURASIANS over the last 50,000 years or so, especially from a group called basal eurasians, a people from which Arabian bedouins are descended.
