I generally purchase Whiteside, Freud or Rockler bits, but buy these if I'm only going to use them a few times as they aren't bad.

Not anymore.

Until the 1980's every store was closed on Sunday and city bus schedules were cut in half because people were with their family instead of making globalist merchants rich.

I actually mostly use Yonico, but don't do much other than weekend warrior stuff. Want to make doors and the freud set was like $280 or something from bezos. The bigbox stores doors are particle board with veneer (my house uses 2 panel doors), and so I was just going to make them... I did see a yellow set pretty cheap, so will end up getting it; but am not happy about it.

I've been using spektra bits for a while and have not managed to wear through them before doing something dumb like dropping them.

You don't send your bits off for resharpening? Unless you hit something & chipped them, they can maintain the profile pretty accurately.

I do sharpen my good ones in my shop myself.

I usually just get these when I need an odd profile that I know I may only use once or twice.
