Bare foot. If it's blistering hot then it's probably not a great beach day anyways. I can take it or leave it, the ocean is only 30 minutes away.

I have flip flops that are made from beer koozie material. super comfortable. relax your big toe and they don't flop.

Just a fact of life. I wear flip flop ALWAYS inside, never, ever walk barefoot...not to even mention the fire ants around the house which I do not bother because...THEY KILL THE TICKS.

I've walked in on a snake underneath my kitchen sink, 5 inch centipedes in my toilet, racoons on my back porch, hell, I watched a bobcat hunt mice out by my corn feeder I have set up for my goats.

Not everyone lives in the city in apartments, some of us live on the LAND.

I’m in the same weather and socks are fine for me. Maybe if you weren’t so dark you wouldn’t absorb so much heat!

In all seriousness though, I prefer to go barefoot when I can. I spend most of my time on the farm so I don’t have that luxury.
