Idea: Posters with negative scp or ccp get automatically hidden

But you can opt out to unhide them in your account options. Yay or nay? I'm noticing a lot of downvoted posts from a couple of users. Instead of limiting their posting, this might be a better idea. Or should I just leave as is? Let me hear your thoughts.

Edit: After reading all the comments, maybe an opt-in option to hide negative accounts is the better solution.

I like it. I would add that the user be informed of why at the time and what to do to get back into good graces.

I would also say that in order to get back into good graces they must get their SCP CCP back to ZERO not 99 ( or something like this .. make them work for it).

Just give users the ability to hide people by downvoat status.
Easier for @system to implement, less intrusive.

But I like the Idea for a Hall of shame.. where the serial downvoters are listed on the front page.

I would cache content locally on the browser localStorage, not post it publicly on the server, (But retain it in the server end as well). Locally users continue to see this content as it's loaded. Server wise the content will be rate limited. A queue builds 1 post per day or less. The queue is purged at some size on the server. Users that continue to have a long list of unpublished shit get punished with less points or where a single upvote is worth 3/5th of a real vote. Users that are constantly falling out of sync with the server might be trying to hack the site.

But I have an idea..
You can base on AVERAGE of the subverse.
If it's a new subverse with 10 posts, average 2 votes per post.. If the new post gets -2, gets hidden.
If it's an old subverse like whatever.. Let's say average votes from a post is 50...
When the new post gets -50. It gets hidden.
But you should check the averages. I don't know the data, maybe my idea sucks.

You could try a formula.. Like minimum -10 to hidden.
If average > 10 = average /2
In the whatever example.. We get 50/2= 25
If the post gets -25 it gets hidden.

Edit: When you say posts you dont mean comments do you? I can accept limiting what looks to be a bot or things that are not comments being posted in rapid succession. The limits on commenting is what really bothers me.
